The Company is accepting applications for a hands-on, deeply underground role piloting a company-issued mining pod through procedurally generated terrain of unknown depth and occasionally unknown structural integrity. This is a field position. The field is beneath you, and it keeps going.
Duties
Operate mining pod to extract any valuables beneath surface
Identify and avoid hazards
Extend mining infrastructure to support deeper operations
Maintain positive cash flow through trade at the Boring House
Requirements
Your own pod will be issued (upgrades available, cost deducted from earnings)
Comfort operating in enclosed, dark, occasionally molten environments
Tolerance for duct tape instead of permanent fixes
Ability to read (optional)
Compensation & benefits
Performance-based pay via the market
Optional equity in Sinkhole Savings, the Company's own investment fund
Rescue service available to all active employees for a standard fee

Successful candidates will accumulate achievements over the course of employment. HR will also relay no fewer than 113 facts of negligible operational value, at unpredictable intervals, whether requested or not.
