Twisted Childhood is a roguelike where every world is a different game, and every tale is about to go wrong.
Six tales, six games
- Snow White — Stack blocks at the bottom of the mine and set ore into them. Nine opponents, from the seven dwarves to the Queen... and Snow White herself.
- Pinocchio — Line up orbs of the deadly sins and throw them at whoever stands up to you. Each of them has a weak spot: find it, and hit where it hurts.
- Cinderella — A dice game. Roll, hold, reroll, and build pairs, three of a kinds, full houses and straights. Load your dice and drink to level up your hands.
- Alice — A corrupted game of tarot, played for tricks. Stick seals and dyes onto your cards, awaken the twenty-two arcana and spin the Wheel of Fortune... Watch out for the Cheshire Cat, though.
- Peter Pan — A game of chess in Neverland, against the crocodile. A world still under construction: the first character is available so you can give feedback, but it is a "beta".
- Sleeping Beauty is a surprise still to come.
Wishes
In every world you hold five Wishes at a time, bought from the shop, and they bend the rules of the game you're playing — over 150 in total. Defeated characters leave behind Corrupted Memories, and some Wishes can only be found by looking hard enough. Cheating is not recommended... it is mandatory.
Your opponent doesn't take it well
Win a round and the character across from you slowly corrupts. They bleed, they melt, they decompose. By the end of the level, they must have lost their life.
Kricket
Someone is coming with you: Kricket! He's rude, he hates everyone, he wants revenge for the sky-high taxes and the unfair ticket he got... He came to see blood, and he knows the tricks of all these games: listen closely to his advice...
And when everything is corrupted
Every world you finish unlocks its Endless Mode: compose your own game — the opponent, the settings, the bonuses — and play without end.

What comes next...
A roadmap is planned, and it can be read in the game: balancing, new worlds — Sleeping Beauty is already waiting her turn —, more languages, and replacing the AI-generated images with an artist's work.
