The longer you can survive the move permanent upgrades you will have access to. Each time you brave the dark realms you will have access to increasingly powerful upgrades. Skull survivor is a survivor "Bullet Heaven" style rogue like auto-shooter with a twin stick melee style twist! Move around your avatar while swinging your melee weapon around the screen at the same time. All abilities are auto shooter, and you will be able to place your melee weapon on auto pilot for the option of a true auto shooter experience!

Focus on auto-shooter style upgrades or choose to improve your weapon for heavy hits and physics-based action. If you do not want to focus you can always create a highly effective hybrid build in the process.
