CLOCK IN AT DUSK. CLOCK OUT AT DAWN.
Under the chapel of the Necropolis there is a door, and the things that were locked behind it got out. Hell does not send its own to drag them back. It sends people like you: ordinary people who signed something, once, on a bad night. You are not a hero. You are a debtor, and the Ledger has your name in it.
GRAVESHIFT is a top-down horror bullet heaven. One night is one shift: you are dropped into the Deadly Forest at sunset and you hold out until dawn, while the dark brings out everything that owes Hell more than you do.
THE NIGHT SHIFT
- The Hooded Ones come first, with their campfires and their altars.
- Then the Renegades: debtors who did not pay, now beasts on two legs, and hungry.
- After midnight the wolves flee and the vampires take over. Some drop from the trees. Some crawl out of the ground.
- The Executioner and his chainsaw. The Necromancer and his army of bones. The Warden, asleep on his feet next to the chests.
- And every night three bells ring and Death comes for you. You cannot kill Death. You can only get out of the way.
AN ARSENAL, NOT A LOADOUT
More than twenty firearms across pistols, submachine guns, carbines, shotguns and weapons of war, from a Colt 1911 to an M60. A knife, a machete, a katana. Molotovs, dynamite, bear traps and C4. Every weapon has its own seals, and supply crates fall from the sky when you need them most, or when there is someone to land on.HELP FROM BELOW
Two imps from Hell's own workforce, a gunship on call, a turret, a shark-shaped Blade Drone and the Mech Wolf: an iron wolf that hunts at your side and turns into lightning.BULLET TIME, AND BLOOD THAT STAYS
Slow the world down and watch the bullets fly. Enemies come apart: cut in half, beheaded, blown to pieces, and the blood stays on the ground and on the white birches until dawn.BETWEEN SHIFTS
Spend your gold in the Armory, open chests of five rarities, collect bounties, fill the Register of Beasts and find what the forest is hiding. Make it to dawn and a horror comic goes up on the comics wall, ready to read page by page. Work the night as Vesper, the contractor in the gas mask, or as the Ripper, with his knives.PRE-RENDERED, FRAME BY FRAME
Every debtor, monster and weapon is a 3D model rendered into sprites in sixteen directions, the way the late-nineties classics did it.Contains graphic violence, gore and strong language.
