Welcome to Meow Field: a tiny battlefield you can keep running right on your desktop! There are no controls so complicated that you’ll feel like writing a thesis, but it’s not the kind of idle game where you simply walk away and forget it exists, either. Your character will charge, shoot, reload, and throw grenades on their own. Your job is to plan their growth path, then occasionally tap the keyboard or click the mouse to remind them that, yes, they can absolutely work harder.
The game blends idle progression, auto-battling, and incremental growth. You’ll repeatedly clear stages to earn gold and experience, then use the Gold Shop to unlock new firearms, equipment, and vehicles. As you progress, you’ll gain access to more weapon attachments and equipment items, opening up increasingly varied character builds.
Four soldier classes each have their own roles and strengths. Every class has an independent talent tree, and you can keep strengthening them through levels, talents, Gold Shop upgrades, and equipment combinations. More classes and talents are also planned for future updates!
In addition to solo idle progression, you can team up with friends online to enter battles together, push through stages, and earn resources as a squad. When teammates are offline, mirror data can continue joining the fight, so your desktop squad doesn’t have to suffer from the classic “not enough people, call it off” problem. Multiplayer teams offer higher combat efficiency and more room to experiment with class synergies.
The game will also feature ranked battles. Bring your trained classes, weapons, equipment, and builds into more challenging combat, then test them against other players’ lineups or mirror data. Ranked battles focus on long-term growth, power-building, and strategic combinations, giving your idle progression a clearer goal beyond simply making the numbers bigger.
The APM system tracks your inputs and converts them into short bursts of action acceleration. In simple terms, your clicks and key presses are not wasted. They help your soldier move faster, attack more often, and reload more smoothly. Idle players can grow at their own pace, while active players can hammer the battlefield rhythm into something delightfully frantic. Of course, the hardest workers will always be more efficient.
This is a game designed for long-term growth at the edge of your desktop: clear stages, earn money, level up, unlock gear, refine builds, team up with friends, test your setup in ranked battles, and watch those battlefield numbers get prettier and prettier.
