Players control a lone hero in this fantasy platformer, navigating a sprawling labyrinth to gather five pieces of the golden talisman. The quest demands jumping over pits, climbing ropes, swimming through hazards, and firing at foes like bouncing eyeballs, aggressive fish, and fire-breathing dragons. Keys, ropes, lanterns, and strength-boosting flags aid progress against the evil wizard's curse on the home town. This remastered emulation packs both Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64 originals with save-anywhere functionality, modern controller support, full remapping, and image scaling options. Retro action-adventure fans relish the authentic challenge of precise platforming and enemy dodging in a preserved 1980s style.

Originally released in the mid 1980s for home microcomputers, this fantasy platformer saw players take on the role of a lone hero, battling to save their home town from the grip of an evil wizard's curse! Now, relive those days in this remastered emulated version.

Contains both the Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64 versions of the game.
Gameplay
Traverse a vast labyrinth in search of the 5 pieces of the golden talisman, the only means to release your home town from its terrible curse. Jump across pits, climb ropes, swim, and shoot at the various deadly enemies, from bouncing eyeballs to fearsome fish to deadly fire-breathing dragons! Collect items to help you in your quest, including keys, ropes, lanterns, and strength-augmenting flags.


This enhanced version introduces a number of modern features to this retro classic, including:

  • Saving/loading the game at any point
  • Support for most modern game controllers
  • Full control remapping
  • Image scaling and smoothing options
