Four Seasons with Cats — Artbook
Take a quiet walk around the pond as the year changes. Four Seasons with Cats brings together eight watercolor-style illustrations of kittens, koi, flowers and garden light. Each scene offers a different small moment to linger over, from falling spring petals to a sheltered winter nap.
A year beside the pond
Spring — blossoms and rain
A calico kitten watches petals drift across clear water beneath the cherry blossoms. Nearby, a black-and-white tuxedo kitten rests beneath wisteria after the rain. Fresh leaves, damp stones and glimpses of koi give these two scenes the gentle feeling of a garden waking up.
Summer — lotus flowers and moonlight
An orange tabby stretches out on a warm stone beside a sunlit lotus pond. In the second scene, a Siamese kitten keeps quiet company with the moon above the water. Lush leaves, open flowers and soft reflections carry summer from a bright afternoon into a calm night.
Autumn — ginkgo gold and maple red
A silver tabby settles among golden ginkgo leaves while koi move beneath the reflections. A black kitten sits beside red maples in the warm light of sunset. Together, the two illustrations explore autumn's changing colors and the stillness of a garden at the end of the day.
Winter — first snow and warm sunlight
A white longhaired kitten rests in a sheltered stone alcove as snow brightens the garden outside. A Bengal kitten enjoys a patch of winter sunlight beside the pond. Cool water, quiet branches and small pools of warmth bring the collection to a gentle, unhurried close.
