ParaDoxo is a story-driven apocalyptic RPG where your choices change the story!
The story begins on the day that was prophesied to mark the end of the world.
According to Elder Haoyu (the founder of the park you live in), you are the chosen one — destined either to destroy the world or to save it from the Apocalypse. But underneath the
surface, hides a very peculiar mystery on why the Apocalypse happened
in the first place.
This game has multiple genres:
you can either play the game as a turn-based RPG, switch it up with a fast paced Rogue-like shooter, or destroy everything in your path, beat em up style.
Features:
Grow bonds with a personal companion! You can own pets that will grow with you and evolve throughout the story. Your story will change depending on the pet you own, and if they love you enough to help or hinder your progress.
Personally affect the outcome of the story! This game isn't structured in a simple way, much like the real world, you will take guesses on what to do next, a character can tell you what they think you should do next, but the story can still unfold if you choose to ignore them and do something completely different.
Cook and eat delicious food! You'll be able to prepare your own lunch to help you on your adventure. How well you prepare your lunch will determine how much of a stat boost you receive.
Customize your character and home base! You can't be the chosen one without style! You'll always be on the move, so it's important to have a secure home base where you can leave extra items when your inventory gets too full, or decorate it however you like to capture that feeling of "home, sweet home"!
Optional: The world ages as your character’s level increases! Leveling up not only boosts your stats in this world, but also evolves you and the characters you’ve grown to love, creating an even more immersive experience. Your actions will determine how you look as you grow!
