MISPLACED is a story-driven psychological horror adventure set within the world of the fictional Church of Balance.
St. Agnes Diocese - the place where he lost his wife and child.
Beneath its soil, the two of them rest.
Relying on medication just to make it through each day, Evan believes it is his duty as a priest to purify that place and sets out for St. Agnes.
Through prayer and ritual, confront what lies beyond reality.
Follow the records left throughout the diocese and the stories of its people as you retrace what happened there.
Through his own eyes, Evan begins to see what lies beneath the surface of the world.
Behold.
Explore the diocese and search for letters, journals, reports, and records.
What happened at St. Agnes was not left behind as a single story.
Only by piecing together the records and traces left by different people can the shape of the incident begin to emerge.
And even a record you have already found may not contain the whole truth.
That which lies beyond balance seepeth through the cracks;
Face the beings that disturb the balance of the world.
Take up your rosary and pray.
But be careful.
Get too close to the truth, and Evan may not be able to endure it.
You must decide when to stand your ground and when to look away.
when prayer toucheth it, that which is hidden shall be revealed,
Some objects left behind at St. Agnes hold memories of the past.
Look upon them and pray to reveal what lies hidden within.
What could not be seen before will come into view.
and when incense is burned, it shall return to its rightful place.
Purify with the censer what prayer has revealed.
Through purification, hidden records and traces return to their rightful form,
and clues that once seemed unrelated begin to point toward the same incident.
Gather the scattered pieces and uncover what happened at St. Agnes.
And make your choice.
