Your friend is getting married tomorrow. You arrive a day early to help prepare the newlyweds’ home: moving boxes, putting up wedding decorations, and running errands. During a tea break, someone casually asks, “Programmers make so much money. How are you still single?”
The question is out there. One by one, new contacts start appearing on your WeChat.
Nine Women, Nine Agendas
There’s no designated heroine. Events determine who enters your life, and you can get to know several women within a single save.
Li Muwan — A university lecturer. She weighs your credentials, your prospects, and whether you’re worth her time.
Yueyao — Her daughter, a university student. Pressured into adding you on WeChat, she’s reluctant—and more calculating than she lets on.
Liu Ruyan — A company president. Your monthly salary is pocket change to her.
Xiao Rongyu — Your coworker. A socially anxious homebody who barely speaks to you at the office. The wedding is your first real interaction.
Shen Youchu — Gentle on the surface. As long as the money shows up, so does she.
Bai Ningbing — Few words, plenty of action. She drives, pins the location, and gets things done.
Jiang He — Outgoing and playful. She joins in the teasing and keeps the conversation flowing.
Jiang Yirou — A married homemaker. She tidies up the newlyweds’ home as though it were her own.
Yu Youwei — A high-earning livestreamer. Money matters to her too, but she makes more than you do—and isn’t particularly interested in you.
“Affection” Measures How Useful You Are to Her
A rising affection score doesn’t mean she likes you. Think of it more as an ATM withdrawal limit: the more you go along with her, cover the costs, and hold your tongue, the better the numbers look.
Your Turtle Score, meanwhile, belongs to you alone. It keeps track of how much you’ve given in this time.
