I personaggi di Glitch Escape lottano contro realtà che si sgretolano, intrappolati in un regno astrale da un antagonista che rifiuta di svegliarsi. Il protagonista affronta questo nemico - una versione distorta di se stesso - per salvare gli altri dalle linee mondiali parallele. Ispirato alle teorie sulla paralisi nel sonno e la proiezione astrale, questo indie adventure esplora le battaglie contro paure metafisiche.
Realizzato da 16 studenti di UCSC games, il titolo free-to-play per PC cattura i giocatori in una storia di confronto con i demoni interiori per liberarsi. Perfetto per i fan delle avventure psicologiche e degli scontri che piegano la realtà.
This game was originally inspired by sleep paralysis and the metaphysical theories surrounding astral projection being one of the gateways to high dimensions. The game tells a story about characters who struggle with their reality and falls victim to an antagonist who wants to keep them forever in the "astral realm". The protagonist must face their fear, the antagonist: a version of themself that does not want to wake up, in order to save the others (who are also versions of them from other world lines).
The game was made by 16 UCSC students from the games department.
