Puzzle Peace - Cozy Critters Pack is a free-to-play jigsaw puzzle game available on PC. It expands the base title Puzzle Peace: Cozy Jigsaws with twenty new scenes centered on animals in relaxed settings. Players assemble images such as a kitten tangled in yarn, a duckling inside a teacup, fox cubs near their den, otters at play, flamingos by a sunset lagoon, and red pandas running a tea house.
Gameplay
The core loop involves selecting a scene and placing pieces on a dedicated honey-toned wood tabletop that includes a napping kitten and a dish of birdseed. Piece counts range from small warm-up puzzles to large weekend projects, with three puzzles at 40 pieces, four at 84 pieces, six at 220 pieces, five at 576 pieces, and two at 1,296 pieces. A soft rainy-window soundtrack plays in the background during sessions.
Players sort and arrange pieces using available tools that include Smart Sort, dedicated trays, edge and color sorting options, piece rotation, and a Gallery for viewing completed work. These features support steady progress without time limits or competitive pressure, allowing focus on matching shapes and colors at a comfortable pace.
Game Modes
Assembly takes place in a single-player format where each scene functions as its own session. Shorter puzzles suit brief sessions while larger ones encourage extended focus. Sorting tools help organize pieces by edge type or color before placement, and rotation allows fine adjustments for tricky fits. The Gallery stores finished images for later review or display.
Progression follows the listed piece counts, starting with quick 40-piece options and scaling up to the two 1,296-piece challenges. Every puzzle uses the same tabletop environment and soundtrack, creating a consistent relaxed atmosphere across all sizes.
Visuals and Atmosphere
Each of the twenty scenes features detailed animal illustrations with soft colors and cozy details. The fixed tabletop setup adds a sense of place, while the rainy-window audio track reinforces the calm mood. Completed puzzles can be revisited through the Gallery, turning finished work into a personal collection of animal-themed images.
